Take Action Against S.811, Healthcare Discrimination Bill, in South Carolina

Hey South Carolina – we need you again at the statehouse. S.811, a bill that would grant medical providers a broad "license to discriminate" – including against #LGBTQ people, will be heard Monday, June 21 at 9:30am.

You can speak out in any one or all three of the following ways:

1) Show up in person In Columbia Monday morning at 10:00 to TESTIFY AGAINST S. 811. If you're able to testify you need to sign up through this form: https://forms.gle/u6Xv2dZYtLNagb7e8

2) SUBMIT WRITTEN AND/OR VIDEO COMMENTS. A three-minute video addressing the subject is acceptable in lieu of in-person testimony. All electronic or written correspondence must be sent in by Friday, June 18, 5 PM. Please send e-mails/attachments to: smedicomm@scsenate.gov (please use bill # S.811 in subject line).

3) CONTACT THE MEMBERS OF THE SUBCOMMITTEE and let them know you oppose S.811. It only takes a few seconds. You can do that directly through this action link: https://p2a.co/HOGVb4G

Thank you for showing up for the community again and again this session! You are true champions.
