Join Us for a Virtual Town Hall on Trans Healthcare in SC – March 19th!

Lawmakers have spent the entire 2024 legislative session trying to push through H. 4624, the trans youth healthcare ban, and recent amendments have made it worse with implications for adults as well. We know many people are confused about how it has changed since its introduction, and how it could impact the community if it passes. So we’re hosting a Town Hall on March 19th to explain the implications of this bill, share impactful ways to fight back before the Senate vote, and preview resources available to continue receiving care if the bill does pass.

We’ll fight H. 4624 every step of the way, and hope you’ll explore avenues to organize in your community – it’s all hands on deck to stop this bill before it’s too late. Our team will be hosting multiple events and phone banks in the coming weeks, as well as offering grants for you to host your own events, so you can fight back in the way that works best for you. If you’d like to join a phone and text bank with our Organizing Team, you can sign up here.

If this cruel bill passes, we also want you to know that our partners will snap into action to make sure trans kids and adults can still get the care they need – through telehealth, travel grants, and more. Our community will always come together to support one another, and we will never stop pushing to make sure everyone can access the care they need to thrive.

Please RSVP for our March 19th virtual Town Hall in South Carolina, and we’ll follow up with the Zoom link where you can join the event.
