Join the Rapid Response Phone Bank Team to Defeat Discriminatory Bills
From now through May 12, the SC United for Justice & Equality team will be all-hands-on-deck as we work to defeat a wave of discriminatory bills in the South Carolina Legislature.
To do that, we’ll need your help. The best way to block these bills right now – including bills that target LGBTQ+ youth for discrimination and exclusion, bills that would make it harder to access affirming healthcare in South Carolina, racist bills that censor curriculum in schools, and bills that restrict abortion access – is by calling our lawmakers directly and urging them to vote NO.
We’re reconvening our Rapid Response Phone Bank Team this week, coming together on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to mobilize calls against this legislation. Can you join and commit to these gatherings (which we’ll host virtually and in person) where we’ll make calls together?
