Sunshine Bella Goodman

Sunshine Bella Goodman, Board Member of Alliance for Full Acceptance and Organizer with We Are Family's Trans Love Fund spoke at a press conference to mark the start of Trans & Queer Field Day on Sunday, May 16th, in celebration of the end of the 2021 legislative session in South Carolina.

I am Sunshine Goodman, I only respond to she/her/hers pronouns and I live here in South Carolina. Today I wanted to give a message of love and support to all of the trans youth out there–not just in South Carolina but in the whole United States. 

I like to call you all my nieces and nephews–so I want you all to know that I know, and we all know, that it is not easy always. But I hope that you know from this event and all the support that we’ve had throughout this year that you are loved, you are supported, and there is a whole wide world waiting just for you.
